Sundays, 7p.m. Mass
A tranquil experience featuring upbeat contemporary music and
participation by students from St. Alphonsus, St. Catherine, Holy Cross and
St. Peter’s schools. This Sunday evening Mass has a flavour all its own!

Grade 7 and 8 Pizza and Movie Nights
A great variety of movies! Join us for pizza in the Barney room,
followed by a movie in the Church and short discussion. Parents are welcome
to join the discussion!

Note to parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles!
If
you like to lead by example, if you like to be actively involved in your
child’s activities, then consider volunteering an evening of your time.
Opportunities include: facilitating the discussions on Movie Nights,
chaperoning dances and theme nights, participating at 7p.m. mass, and many
others as events are planned throughout the school year. Contact Sheri

We had great fun last year! 6:30 – 8:30p.m. in the lower Parish hall.
December 7th – Christmas Dance

Theme
Nights for Grades 5-7
Always popular – Crazy human tricks, challenging missions, Theme Nights
always hold a surprise or two! 6:30 – 8:30p.m. in the lower Parish Hall
November 23rd – this night is a sports night being held at St.
Catherine Catholic school – 1575 Glenforest Blvd. Indoor and outdoor
activities – dress accordingly.

Drop-in Recreational Sports nights for High School Students
This is an opportunity to just play for fun, eat pizza and mingle, then
still have your evening free! 6:30 – 8:30p.m. at St. Catherine Catholic
school – 1575 Glenforest Blvd.

Parents and Tots
Serves parishioners, neighbourhood residents, home day care providers and
newcomers looking to meet new friends and introduce their children to
socializing and sharing with other children. Children enjoy circle time,
action-songs, story time and dancing to music.

Scout and Guide Movement:
The Scout and Guide Movement is very active in the parish providing
young people with an opportunity to learn and develop life skills. Each
group meets once a week either in the parish hall or the school gym.

Athletics:
For aspiring athletes the parish offers both youth baseball and youth
hockey. Both organizations are well run and help to develop the athletic
skill of the young people, provides them with healthy recreation, and
teaches them to play fairly.
