Ministry of the Word:
The women and men who are
trained to proclaim the Word of God.

Eucharistic
Minister:
These women and men serve Eucharist at both the
Sunday liturgy and during the week.

Ministers of Hospitality: Those who act as
greeters by extending a warm welcome as people gather for a service.
They also direct people to their seats and collect the sacrificial
offerings.

Altar Servers:
Young boys and girls volunteer to serve at Mass. Children in our
community in grade five or higher are all encouraged to serve. We
work hard and play hard. For service to God and the community, we
reward our children with bi-monthly pizza and movie nights and an
annual trip to Canada's Wonderland (see photo)

Music Ministry:
The parish is blessed
with a faith-filled and well-trained music ministry. We have four
different choirs and four different styles of music for each mass.
The Sat. 5.00 p.m. is folk, the 8:30 a.m. is a lively upbeat choir,
the 11.30 a.m. is more traditional and the Sunday 7.00 p.m. is music
especially written for teens.

Family Mass:
Our
Family Mass is at 10:00AM Sunday morning. Children are involved with their
families in every aspect of the service. Carol Wierenga (750-0226)
coordinates every aspect of the Mass. If you and your children would like
to share in the readings, as Gift bearers or other ministries, please call
Carol. We also have a wonderful, spirited children's choir under the
direction of Danny Bronson (745-8351) assisted by Janina and John Kraus.
They would love to have your children sing in the choir. Finally during
the mass, children under grade two are invited to assemble in the
choir room for a reading of the Word of God that is at their level. The
gospel is explained to them in a way they can understand. The leaders most
often encourage them to do artwork, which they can show to the
parishioners & take home. The whole Mass is festive and a celebration
of the family of God.

Banner Committee:
This committee designs and constructs banners for our liturgies reflecting
the seasons and the gospel message. We gather Monday mornings and evenings-
take your pick! The emphasis is on fun and community. We'd love to have you
join us!

Liturgy Committee:
We meet once a month
(first Tuesday evening) to discuss ways to enliven
and invigorate Sunday liturgies. Together we hope to improve how we
worship
and make it truly a celebration.
