Purpose: The parish council is an advisory body which provides
leadership within the community by working jointly with the pastor,
pastoral team and parish to listen to the needs of the people, and to draw
forth and to affirm the gifts of the community of faith. Its goal is to
collaborate in the building up of a vibrant Christian Community which
gathers to worship, and to live and proclaim God’s Word. Made up of 12
members, 4 elected and 8 appointed from the major organizations in the
parish.
